The following are questions we are often asked. If you can’t find the answer to your query here then please contact us using the details on our Contact Us page.

How much is delivery?

For orders within mainland UK under £45 there is a charge of £5. Orders over £45 will be delivered free of charge to the UK mainland. If ordered from outside the UK mainland a charge will be applied on any value of order.

Do prices include VAT?

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the standard current UK rate. What you see is what you pay.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

All orders received before 1pm (Monday to Friday) and in stock will be dispatched the same day by Royal Mail or courier (dependent upon the weight of your order). However Quality Ironmongery cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the Royal Mail service or the courier. If there is a  problem with your order we will notify you immediately by e-mail or telephone and do our utmost to provide you with a target delivery date.

How do I pay for the goods? 

All payments are processed via Realex Payments who offer secure payments by debit and credit card. For more info about Realex please visit http://www.realexpayments.com

How do I return an item?

Hopefully you won’t need to return any products, if you do it is our aim to make this process simple for you. Items returned should be unused in a saleable condition with all component parts included.

E-mail sales@qualityironmongery.co.uk advising the reason for return and they will arrange for the collection of goods from you and get replacement goods despatched ASAP

I’ve forgotten my password?

No problem. Just click on the link under the returning customer sign in, enter your e-mail address and we will e-mail your password to you.

What is your complaints process?

We hope it is very unlikely that you will have a reason to complain however should you feel that you the need arises you can either phone and speak with one of our senior Managers or contact us by e-mail and we will arrange for someone to contact you.

Should you need assistance or re-assurance with your installation you can either contact us by phone or e-mail and you will be put in touch with our technical department.
